I am the new chef patron for Savoy from the beginning of May. To take over such an iconic restaurant is at the same time very exciting and humbling opportunity. I love Savoy and its distinctive place in Finnish culinary history. It can be one of the classic restaurants in the world that every gourmand and connoisseur wants to to visit. A place of pilgrimage to pay homage to Alvar Aalto.

This is our aim for this new venture.

I would like to see that everything we do respects the great traditions that began back in 1937. At the same time we want to be contemporary and play our part in cultural life of Helsinki today.

I want Savoy to be the best Finnish restaurant in the world based on Nordic French cuisine with a  hint of Russian twist.

Savoy will compete with the very best in the world in food, decor or atmosphere.

We already have many respected professionals in our team. To make our journey to the top, we need more outstanding individuals to join. Previous experience at this level is a bonus, even more important is the will to aim high.
